Henry Campbell-RickettsI am currently employed as a civil servant, working in Central London. I am also a member of the Reserve Forces, having completed 21 years’ service. I have worked for a number of years in local government and both the private and charity sectors with responsibility for ecology, arboriculture and forestry, as well as a five-year period as a non-executive director of a major military charity. I remain a champion for the protection of green spaces and biodiversity and keen to use innovative as well as With good knowledge of the planning system, I am well-placed to ensure that all development deliversbenefit for the community without harming the aspects of the area that make it such a wonderful place to live. I have experience in partnership working, having delivered major projects involving multiple partners and I’m a firm believer in the need for consultation in order to understand the needs of stakeholders before beginning the planning process. Using this experience, I am keen to deliver for the people of Bullbrook and Bracknell, continuing the trend of improvement. I am married with two young children, one who has recently started school and another who attends nursery. I enjoy countryside walks, swimming and rugby, although watching only these days. As a member of CAMRA, I believe that the hospitality industry is a key part of a vibrant and lively area, and I’m determined to see this thrive. |
Cllr Sanjeev PrasadI am an established resident of Bracknell have volunteered to serve my community since 2003. I was first elected in 2015. I was Bracknell Town Mayor for 2021/22, I am standing for Bracknell Forest Council to use my experience to help deliver efficient, cost effective and value for money services that meet the needs of all those who live, work and play in Bracknell Forest. I am proud that our Conservative-led council has invested effectively in areas including schools, youth services, social care, public health, leisure, sports, libraries, infrastructure, and environment, which makes this a fantastic place to live. Through tough Covid and ongoing economic conditions I have supported several charities including the Mayor’s charity ‘Home Start’ providing invaluable support and friendship to families in the Bracknell Forest area since 1993 and winning the Pride of Bracknell Gold Charity award of the year 2022. I intend to contribute to the council on your behalf to ensure the changing service needs of our residents are met. I look forward to engaging further with young people to make them aware of how they can play an active role in their communities. I am keen to see Bracknell Forest Council continue to keep its high standards of work and I will be delighted with an opportunity to serve you at the borough level. |
