Saatchi ChattarajI moved to Bracknell in 2012, in the Parks at Harmans Water. My wife and I were attracted to the green open spaces and the trees around us, and we decided to settle in this area. I understand the importance of living and raising a family in a town with clean open spaces and greenery all around and parks for children to play. Therefore, I will do my utmost to support any local initiatives to help our environment and green spaces. In addition, I am interested in the development of local health and social care and transport infrastructure within Bracknell. I have been out in the ward meeting people to validate my understanding of local issues and discover where you feel the council does well or needs to do better. Previously I have served in the Royal Naval Reserve (RNR) and am sympathetic to issues faced by our service men and women and have volunteered in the charity Help for Heroes and would help in any fund-raising initiative if required. I am an IT (Information Technology) auditor in the financial services sector in London and was educated in Scotland (Aberdeen). Should I be elected, I will do my utmost to both support and resolve local issues. |
Dee HamiltonI have lived and raised my family in this Ward for over 30 years. I will ensure a continued vision of improving resident experience. I have worked with the Conservative team to deliver projects such as The Lexicon and Heathlands. I campaigned for local shopping and worked for a better, cleaner and refurbished shopping centre at Wildridings. I will continue my work to keep improving parking for residents. I have delivered new parking bays in a variety of the roads within the Ward. I am keen to support green initiatives, not only in recreation areas but with new EV points. I appreciate local issues within the Ward , such as the impact traffic, speeding and antisocial behaviour may have on residents. I have met with partners on improvements by gathering information via residents surveys in ward street and walk in Councillor surgeries. I am a teacher and I am so proud of all our local schools being good or outstanding. I was a former Parent Governor at Brakenhale. I have worked with other ward councillors and run a joint monthly social event to support better mental health as a result of issues raised by the recent pandemic. I feel we live in a beautiful and well-established community with a strong family community spirit here. If elected I will be keen to continue to make the Easthampstead and Wildridings Ward an enjoyable place to live . |
