Kevin BuchlerI am a proud resident of Bracknell. As a Candidate for Ward Councillor for Great Hollands I am committed to getting the best facilities and services for residents. I am divorced with three adult children. As a business leader, I'm positioned with my skills and negotiating experience to seek improvements in parking, road repairs and maintenance of our green spaces as well as a better Police presence. I am supporting the Borough Council’s climate change strategy and focussed on the need for more EV charging points and energy efficiency measures. Having vast experience involving project management, logistics and delivery on large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders, I am well-positioned to engage with all Great Hollands residents. Being relationship-orientated will also bring about a fresh-approach, lending a keen ear for any resident’s queries or needs. I undertake to investigate all resident’s concerns promptly, and effectively communicates council decisions that affect them. I believe the following is key to deliver for residents of Great Hollands:
My spare-time sees me enjoying gardening, cooking, an avid music-lover and an occasional round of golf. |
Michael GbadeboFor over 23 years, my family and I have called Great Hollands our home, and have cherished the safety, warmth, friendliness, facilities, and beautiful green spaces of our community. I've been running two IT businesses locally for 17 years and have served as a school governor at Sandhurst Secondary School and Bracknell & Wokingham College. I am currently an Enterprise Adviser to King's Academy Easthampstead Park, a trustee of Home-Start Bracknell Forest, and a member of Arts Council England's Southeast Area. First elected in 2011, I was re-elected in 2019 as the Borough & Town Councillor for Great Hollands South. At the Borough Council, I lead the Arts, Culture & Heritage strategy working group, and at the Town Council, I lead the Climate Change working group. If elected, I will work tirelessly on your behalf, advocating for our community's interests and influencing key decision-makers. I will ensure our council is run efficiently. I will tackle issues with common sense and proactively seek new ways to enhance our community. I will fight to safeguard the things that matter most to you, such as our green spaces and parks. I am committed to making Bracknell Forest an even better place to live, work, and play. While my primary passion is serving my constituents, I also have a deep passion for technology, cars, music, art, and sports (particularly F1). My promise to you is to be diligent and hard-working, serving you and our community to the best of my abilities. |
Paul WiddowsonI have lived within the Bracknell Forest area since 1986. I have been happily single for many years enjoying life. I have operated my own events & entertainment business for the last 28 years around the local area providing fun for people of all ages including the Summer of Fun days held in Great Hollands and elsewhere within the borough having previously worked for many years for a UK supermarket organisation. I strongly believe in putting back into the local community and over the last 15 years have been a Governor at the Royal Surrey Hospital as well as being a Governor at a primary school where I became Co-Chair in the last twelve months in the role and was instrumental as a Councillor in getting a 20mph traffic zone installed outside the school. I have also supported a Boys & Girls football tournament for many years donating funds which are used to do testing on children through the Cardiac Research in the Young organisation to detect heart defects in children. I have been a Councillor in Sandhurst which was my first experience of local politics I now wish to use my experience to benefit the residents of Great Hollands. I truly believe I still have more to offer which is why I’m now standing as a Borough Council candidate in the Great Hollands ward where I will be focused on trying to improve the environment, supporting the need for more sport and leisure activities and of course trying to sort out parking issues. |
