Bracknell Forest Deputy Mayor Cllr Michael Gbadebo enjoyed his visit to the Whitegrove neighbourhood this afternoon. He was accompanied by Cllr Sandra Ingham and Cllr Dr Gareth Barnard.
The Deputy Mayor inspected progress made on the installation of a new safe crossing at Whitegrove roundabout. Warfield Harvest Ride borough councillors Gareth Barnard, Sandra Ingham and Robert McLean have worked hard to secure this crossing for local families to safely cross the Warfield Harvest Ride distributor road and in particular to keep children safe crossing to and from Whitegrove Primary School. "I am very pleased to be able to support local residents in this way," said Cllr Sandra Ingham.
On the walkabout the Deputy Mayor also stopped to read the new plaque at Rachel's Lake and enjoyed the well-kept walkway to Tesco.
