Bullbrook
I moved to Bracknell in 1983 when I joined Thames Valley Police, spending nearly a decade at the local station as a response driver and beat officer in Priestwood, becoming a Bullbrook resident in 2004. A widower and proud Dad of two, my daughter is an events executive in Australia and my son is a Barrister. Rising through the ranks, including spending time at the Thames Valley Police Training Centre in Sulhamstead, I left the Police after 21 years to establish a leading risk consultancy that has provided me with the opportunity to travel the World. A Law graduate with a Master’s in criminology I have a professional interest in community safety, restorative justice, and mediation.
I am a keen follower of sport and remain loyal to my roots as an avid Notts County fan. I believe that I am fortunate to live in Bracknell and the much-needed town centre regeneration has put a spring in everybody’s step. Coupled with the amazing open spaces and leisure facilities Bracknell has become a destination to be extremely proud of.
I was elected as a Bullbrook Ward Town Councillor in May 2018 and if successful in becoming your Borough Councillor I aim to utilise my skillset and experience to help remedy local Ward challenges whilst adding value to the safety, security, and contentment of residents
