Clearing up after Storm Eunice: worst storm damage for over 30 years

Intensive work by Council and other teams enabled nearly all roads to reopen quickly after Storm Eunice on 18 February. Part of a building collapsed into Rectory Lane, Bracknell (top), so this road remained closed until 2 March on the instructions of the fire service and police.

New Food Waste Colletion Boosts Recycling Rate

Recycling rates in Bracknell Forest have been boosted by the introduction of separate food waste collections in March 2020. This reduces landfill taxes on the council.

Improvements to our Roads

A programme of refreshing white lines on roads across Bracknell Forest started on 15 November 2021. It deals with instances where lines have become faint over the last few years.

Zebra Crossing Changes Improve School Safety

Raised and new Zebra Crossings near St Michael's Primary School in Crowthorne Road and Rectory Lane, Bracknell, make it safer for parents, children and other pedestrians to cross these roads safely.
